South Africa: March-April
Some changes have been made in the price, the length and the six departure dates from Chicago and St. Louis for the trip to South Africa. Here are the latest details.
The price is $3,399 per person, double occupancy. The dates are March 24-April 6, March 26-April 8, March 31-April 13, April 2-15, and April 7-20.
The tentative itinerary includes Cape Town, the Mother City on a peninsula of soaring outcroppings, with nearby wineries and historic towns; the Garden Route of dense forests, wide bays and rocky cliffs, and the Entabeni Game Reserve.

Danube River: April-May
The 10-day, eight-night trip will include visits to Prague, Vienna and Budapest, with a new price of $2,299 per person, double occupancy. Five Chicago and St. Louis departures are planned: April 19-28, April 21-30, April 27-May 6, April 29-May 8, and May 5-14.
The itinerary includes the Czech Republic's ancient palaces, churches and gardens in Prague; a four-night cruise from Linz, Austria, to the spa town of Budapest, Hungary, through the Wachau Valley with stops at Melk, Durnstein and the art and architecture of Austria's capital city of Vienna.
China: June 25-July 8
ISBA President Loren S. Golden will lead a two-week travel program in China a week after the end of the 127th Annual Meeting next year. Scheduled June 25 to July 8, the trip will have departures from both Chicago and St. Louis.
The price of $2,749 per person, double occupancy, includes round-trip airfare via Northwest Airlines, superior first class hotel accommodations for seven nights, and a four-day cruise on the Yangtze River.
Other features are regional air and surface transportation in China, comprehensive sightseeing in each city listed in the itinerary, three meals a day, transfer services and baggage handling, group visa fee, an experienced tour manager throughout China, and local English-speaking guides in each city.
Ireland: Sept.-Oct.
Both Chicago and St. Louis departures are planned for this nine-day, seven-night trip to Irish sites influenced by Vikings and Normans. The tentative price is $1,269 per person, double occupancy.
Included are the narrow streets of Galway, its carved stone windows and arched doorways, and Waterford, where a mile-long quayside is lined with blue, yellow, pink and white houses.
Judge Nicholas Bua sat in state federal courts
Retired judge Nicholas J. Bua, who served in the Cook County Circuit Court, the Illinois Appellate Court and the U.S. District Court, died Nov. 1 at age 77 of leukemia in Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, Melrose Park.
