ISBA Board of Governors

The 25-member Board of Governors is the administrative and managing body of the ISBA, subject to the mandate of our 201-member Assembly. Executive officers are the President, President-Elect, 2nd Vice President, and 3rd Vice President. Board members are elected from Cook County and from 8 downstate areas (see map).

Each Spring the ISBA holds elections for third vice-president (alternating between Cook County and downstate), the Board of Governors, and the Assembly. The electorate consists of ISBA members in the appropriate geographical areas. Candidates must be active ISBA members in good standing. For election information, contact the executive director's office, 800/252-8908 or 217/525-1760.
