(New attorneys are defined as attorneys who have been admitted to the Illinois bar less than one year.) And, it allows you to learn anywhere, at any time convenient for you.

*Even if you're not a new attorney, this DVD program is a great refresher course. Plus, it qualifies you for 15 hours of MCLE credit, which includes 4 hours of professional responsibility.

MCLE credit may be earned only by the attorney registered to use this program with the Illinois State Bar Association office. Each individual attorney wishing to earn MCLE credit for using this program must purchase their own copy.

** A key component of the Illinois Supreme Court's Minimum Continuing Legal Education rule requires that every new Illinois attorney admitted to practice after December 31, 2005, complete a Basic Skills Course, totaling at least 15 hours of instruction. (Rule 793) This requirement does not apply to attorneys who are admitted in Illinois after practicing law in other states for a period of one year or more. (Rule 793(f).)
