Advisory Opinions on Professional Conduct Upon request, the ISBA publishes advisory opinions as a service to members of the Association. The Standing Committee on Professional Conduct answers members' requests for formal advisory opinions. The opinions are developed by the committee and approved by the board of Governors. In addition, ISBA legal counsel is available to consult one-on-one with members on professional ethics.
