JOHN LOCALLO ELECTED TO BOARD OF GOVERNORS
OF ILLINOIS STATE BAR ASSOCIATION
John G. Locallo has been elected to the Board of Governors of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA). The 25-member board directs the operations and activities of the statewide organization.
Locallo, a partner in the law firm of Amari & Locallo, concentrates his practice in real estate tax assessment law.
An ISBA Assembly member for several years, he has been active on numerous committees, most recently serving as vice chair of the State and Local Taxation Section Council.
Locallo, who received the "Distinguished Service Award" from Chicago- Kent College of Law, is active in numerous other professional and civic organizations. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 1982 and became a certified public accountant the following year. He received his J.D. from Chicago- Kent College of Law in 1992.
The 30,000-member Illinois State Bar Association, with offices in Springfield and Chicago, provides professional services to Illinois lawyers, and education and services to the public.
