Komie and Zuckerman Named Officers of
Illinois State Bar Association

Glorioso Elected to Board

Stephen M. Komie, an attorney in Chicago, and Peoria attorney Richard W. Zuckerman, were elected as secretary and treasurer, respectively, of the Illinois State Bar Association. They were elected by their fellow members on the Association's Board of Governors, and will serve one-year terms through June 2005.

Komie, a principal of Komie & Associates in Chicago, has been a member of the ISBA board since 1992. Zuckerman, a sole practitioner in Peoria, has been a board member since 2000.

Additionally, Mauro Glorioso, a Westchester attorney in private practice, was elected to the board for a one-year term. He fills the vacancy of Joseph G. Bisceglia, who was recently elected ISBA third vice president.

The 25-member board functions as the governing body of the state's largest bar association.

With offices in Springfield and Chicago, the 30,000-member Illinois State Bar Association provides professional services to Illinois lawyers, and education and services to the public.
