How does 20% off the ISBA CLE program of your choice sound?*

All you have to do is write an article on a legal topic that helps lawyers in their practice, consisting of 500 words or more. Send that article to Katie Underwood at kunderwood@isba.org, and if your article is published in an ISBA newsletter between July 1st 2005 and June 30, 2006, we'll send you a certificate for 20% off the ISBA CLE program of your choice!

Eligibility
1. Any author(s) of an ISBA newsletter article on a legal topic that helps lawyers in their practice (See definition below) of at least 500 words in length, published in an ISBA newsletter between July 1st 2005 and June 30, 2006 is eligible for this program.
2. Legal articles written by ISBA Newsletter editors and Section chairs will be considered, but their article's eligibility will be determined by the ISBA's Newsletter Managing Editor.

Article requirements
1. Newsletter editors will have authority to determine which articles are worthy of publication in their respective newsletters.
2. In the event of an article eligibility dispute between editor and author, the ISBA's Newsletter Managing Editor will make the final determination.

Certificates
1. Certificate must be presented and surrendered at time of registration in order to receive discount.
2. Certificates are non-transferable.
3. Certificates must be redeemed for an ISBA-sponsored CLE program within 12 months of article publication date. 4. Only original certificates will be honored; no copies will be accepted.
5. Certificates may be combined with other ISBA offers and discounts that may apply, however, discount will be calculated and applied to the total tuition due, minus other discounts or ISBA offers.

Other
1. Authors may only receive five (5) CLE discount certificate during the 2005-2006 publishing year, for their article published during that period.
2. Articles only earn their author(s) one (1) CLE discount certificate, i.e., articles published in multiple ISBA newsletters will not receive multiple discount certificates.
3. This program applies exclusively to ISBA newsletters published between July 1st 2005 and June 30, 2006; for a list of qualifying newsletters, e-mail Katie Underwood at kunderwood@isba.org.
4. Program discounts apply for CLE tuition only, and not course materials for which there may be a charge.
5. One certificate entitles one discount per author; Multiple authors of a single article must present individual certificates to receive discount.

Definitions
1. ISBA newsletters are defined as publications produced on a quarterly basis by ISBA Sections or Committees.
2. Legal articles that help lawyers in their practice are defined as any article discussing a legal subject, consisting of 500 or more words, excluding editors or chairs notes, introductions, or columns.
