Antitrust counseling explored A panel discussion, “Antitrust Counseling: Different Perspectives on Common Counseling Questions” will be presented from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, at Baker & McKenzie, One Prudential Plaza, Chicago. The ISBA Antitrust and Unfair Competition Law Section will conduct the program with speakers representing the perspectives of the government enforcer, and in-house counsel and the law firm counsel. Questions to be discussed include: What do you do when a competitor apparently inadvertently faxes you its bid on an upcoming solicitation? Does it make a difference is you don't believe it was an accident? What if it had been your employee who faxed the bid? Panelists are section council vice chair Kalina M. Tulley of the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division, section council member Mildred L. Calhoun of BP America, Theodore L. Banks of the Kraft Foods Legal Department, and Roxane C. Busey of Baker & McKenzie. A wine and cheese reception will follow the program. There is no charge to attend, but reservations must be made in advance because of building security requirements.
