Additional space has been acquired to accommodate more ISBA members who plan to attend the second Solo and Small Firm Conference this fall. The inaugural conference last October was booked to capacity.
The 2006 conference will take place Thursday through Saturday, Sept. 14 to 16, once again at the popular Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles.
This event, which combines several tracks of educational opportunities with an expo of products and services, will become annually a premiere membership benefit for lawyers in meeting MCLE requirements and networking with colleagues.
Plenary assemblies will feature provocative guest speakers, and breakout sessions will be conducted by knowledgeable practitioners in many substantive areas of the law and essentials of operating a law practice.
ISBA members who have suggestions for improving the educational content of any programs may submit comments by e-mail to tspeedie@isba.org.
The conference location in the historic, scenic Fox Valley offers a host of attractions, entertainment and dining venues for ISBA family members to enjoy.
Preliminary information is available on the Web site at www.isba.org/solo/ or by clicking on the Save the Date icon at the lower right side of the home page. More details will be added as they become available.
Materials from the 2005 conference – a four-inch binder containing more than 400 pages – may be purchased for $75 by sending an e-mail to jishmael@isba.org or calling (800) 252-8908.
