Golfers alert: outings slated

Now that minimum continuing legal education standards are in force, look for some law-related summer golf outings to have CLE components.

First to seize this opportunity is the ISBA Young Lawyers Division, which plans to com-bine a one-hour seminar with its annual benefit for the Children's Assistance Fund on Fri----day, July 14. Golf outing details are listed below.

The seminar, which precedes golf from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, is titled, appropriately, “Building Your Client Base Without Landing in an Ethics Sand Trap.” It is free to participants in the golf outing.

Following are dates of other golfing events that have been announced so far. Send additional information by fax to Stephen Anderson, (312) 726-1422, or e-mail to sanderson@isba.org.
