A request for legislative proposals has been disseminated to ISBA section council and committee officials by Jim Covington, director of legislative affairs.

The Illinois General Assembly was scheduled to adjourn April 12, after which a construction project will begin in the House chambers, so “we can start a little earlier on our legislative package” for 2007, Covington said.

He has asked that proposals be submitted by May 31 so they can be circulated to other ISBA entities in time for review during the Annual Meeting in June at The Abbey on Lake Geneva.
