Chronic pain program planned

Illinois attorneys have been invited to attend a Midwest conference at which fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome and myofascial pain syndrome are among topics that will be discussed.

The conference, “Crossing the Chronic Pain and Fatigue Bridge to Move from Victim to Victor,” will take place Friday through Sunday, May 18 to 20, at the Holi-day Inn Conference Center in Matteson.

In addition to medical professionals and patients, three Illinois attorneys will speak at Sunday morning sessions. They are Scott J. Davis of Chicago, Jeffrey A. Rabin of DesPlaines and Michael Rothmann of Arlington Heights.

Davis and Rabin will discuss Social Security Disability issues. Rothmann will cover Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation.

The keynote speech during the Friday luncheon is “History of Fibromyalgia from Patient's Perspective,” by Lynn Matallana. A gala dinner dance will be held Friday night.
