Class of 1956 includes two ISBA past presidents On Nov. 27, 1956, two future presidents of the Illinois Bar Association traveled to Springfield for the ceremony of admission to the Illinois bar. John C. Feirich, formerly of Carbondale, and Peter H. Lousberg, formerly of Rock Island, are among 123 ISBA members who will be honored this year as Senior Counsellors for 50 years of membership in good standing. The list also includes two Laureates of the ISBA Academy of Illinois Lawyers – James D. Montgomery and Eugene I. Pavalon – and a past president of the Illinois Bar Foundation, John R. Luedtke.
