Justinians honor Michelotti, Madigan at Sept. 13 dinner
The Justinian Society has announced the names of recipients of major awards that will be presented during its formal installation dinner on Wednesday, Sept. 13, at the Palmer House Hilton, Chicago. Carla Michelotti, executive vice president and general counsel of Leo Burnett Worldwide, will receive the 2006 Award of Excellence. She is a past chair of the Fellows of the Illinois Bar Foundation and a Charter Fellow. The Helen M. Cirese Award will be presented to Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan. The award is named in memory of the first Italian-American woman admitted to the Illinois bar. Also a justice of the peace, she was president of the Women's Bar Association of Illinois in 1930-31. Celia G. Gamrath, a member of the ISBA Board of Governors, will take the oath of office as president of the Justinian Society during the dinner. Other officers are Vice Presidents Franco A. Coladipietro, Mauro Glorioso and Donald J. Storino Jr.; Treasurer Christina Mungai, and Secretary Katherine A. Amari.
