Ralph Gabric outing assists Wellness House

The memory of ISBA past president Ralph A. Gabric, a cancer victim who helped countless people deal with the disease before he died, continues to support Hinsdale's Wellness House, a haven for others who are afflicted.

A Ralph Gabric golf outing on Monday, Sept. 25, at Glen Oak Country Club, Glen Ellyn, will provide funding for Wellness House programs that assist cancer victims of all ages at no cost.

Gabric served on the Wellness House board for many years in addition to pledging time and financial support to the not-for-profit organization.

The golf outing will begin with a 12 noon shotgun start. Later, a reception and buffet reception will accompany a program conducted by Chicago attorney Lester Munson, a writer for Sports Illustrated.

In addition to golfing for individuals or foursomes, there are opportunities for hole sponsorships and raffle contributions.

To obtain more information or a registration form, call (630) 980-5078. Reservations for golf packages, at $300 per person, should be made by Aug. 25. The cost for reception and dinner only is $75.
