Board elects Felice, Locallo to offices

The ISBA Board of Governors filled out its slate of officers on July 20 by electing a secretary from outside of Cook County and a treasurer from Cook County, as provided in the bylaws.

Elected unanimously as the new ISBA secretary is Richard D. Felice of Wheaton, a past president of the DuPage County Bar Association.

In a contested election, John G. Locallo of Amari & Locallo, Chicago, became the new treasurer. He is a past president of the Justinian Society.

The board elected Carbondale attorney Shari R. Rhode of Rhode & Jackson to the Area VII vacancy that resulted from the election of Mark D. Hassakis as third vice president. Rhode is a past chair of the Federal Civil Practice Section Council and a former member of the Labor and Employment Law Section Council and Committee on Legislation.

Seven members of the Board of Gov-ernors were elected to the Committee on Scope and Correlation: Carl R. Draper, Keith E. Fruehling, Mauro Glorioso, Russell W. Hartigan, Elizabeth Jensen, Michele M. Jochner and John G. Locallo.

They join Second Vice President John G. O'Brien, chair; past president Irene F. Bahr, and Third Vice President Hassakis. Executive Director Robert E. Craghead is committee secretary.
