Coco relates life in ‘Wee World' Cook County Associate Judge Gloria G. Coco, a member of the ISBA Assembly, has been appearing at Live Bait Theater in Chicago in her own play, titled “The Wee World.” Her last performance is at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24. For ticket information, call (773) 871-1212. The petite jurist relates personal and professional experiences as a student, a school teacher and a prosecutor that have been influenced by her height. Coco appeared two years ago at Live Bait in a monologue,“Finding Uncle Freddie,” about her search for the grave of an uncle four decades after his death at age 4 on Ellis Island. Her 2004 theatrical debut took place in “The Passages of Grace” at Northwestern University, where she received a bachelor's degree from the Department of Theatre. |
