Women's Academy scheduled
The ISBA will be a bar association co-sponsor of the second two-day Women in Law Leadership (WILL) Academy next month on building career and legal skills, particularly among women lawyers with 10 years or less in practice.
The ABA Commission on Women in the Profession, the Section of Litigation and the Young Lawyers Division will conduct the program Thursday and Friday, March 30-31, at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place Hotel.
Participants will learn to take charge of their leadership potentials, to make self-assessments, to build personal leadership plans, and to hear from those who have led the way before them. CLE sessions will be strong on content and focused on practical, concrete advice and guidance.
Keynote speakers are Gloria Santona, executive vice president and general counsel for the McDonald's Corp., at 12:45 p.m. Thursday, and Mary Cranston, chair of Pillsbury Winthrop, at 1 p.m. Friday.
