Lawyer to make MS Walk as a tribute to wife
Huntley attorney Robert C. “TJ” Thurston and his Team Black Dog will participate in the National Multiple Scler-osis Society's annual MS Walk in Crystal Lake on Sunday, May 7, as a tribute to his wife.
“Deanna was diagnosed with MS in 2003 and I have vowed to fight on her behalf,” Thurston said. He set a goal of $3,500 and has raised $1,350 so far to fight the disease that afflicts about 400,000 people nationally.
Thurston's Web site, www.tinyurl.com/bkewe, details his initiative and the ways ISBA members can join, either actively or financially. It includes a photo of his wife and children.
After the walk in Crystal Lake, Team Black Dog participants will celebrate with a free lunch and receive commemorative T-shirts. For more information, contact Thurston at (847) 659-8613 or tjthurston@yahoo.com.
