Judicial Advisory Polls ballots are being mailed to ISBA members in downstate circuits where primary elections will be conducted March 21 for court vacancies.

Candidates will be listed for each circuit, and members will be able to register opinions in a series of questions regarding criteria for judicial performance. The ballots must be returned by Jan. 27 to the Illinois Bar Center in Springfield.

The responses will be tabulated by the ISBA Committee on Judicial Advisory Polls, which has emphasized the importance of participation in this initiative to improve the quality of the Illinois bench.
