Kane, DuPage Bars furnish courthouse passes

Illinois attorneys who need security passes to enter court facilities in the 16th and 18th Circuit may obtain them through county bar associations that offer the service. Expired passes will not be accepted after Feb. 1.

The Kane County Bar Association has scheduled several days of making photographs for ARDC card passes in the 16th and 18th Circuits. The locations, dates and times are:

Kane County Judicial Center (St. Charles) multi-purpose room – 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19; Monday, Jan. 22, and Tuesday, Jan. 30.

Third Street Courthouse (Geneva) attorneys work center – 9 a.m. to 12 noon Tuesday, Jan. 16, and Wednesday, Jan. 24.

The DuPage County Bar Association will process passes in the third floor Attorney Resource Center of the 18th Circuit Judicial Center in Wheaton. Times are 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. daily through Friday, Feb. 9.

Attorneys should bring their 2006 DuPage County passes and transponders, if being renewed, and their ARDC cards, identification photographs and payments.

Kane County card costs are $15 for members and $20 for non-members. DuPage County card costs are $20 for renewals and $30 for new cards, including transponders.
