Kurt A. Hentz has joined Hepler, Broom, MacDonald, Hebrank, True & Noce, Edwardsville, as a partner in defense of personal injury cases, commercial litigation and family law. A St. Louis attorney for almost 20 years, Hentz practices out of the firm's St. Louis office.

Catherine Tetzlaff has joined the Chicago office of Barnes & Thornburg as an associate in commercial litigation, products liability and coverage areas. She has been an associate at Kaplan, von Ohlen & Massamilla, and Figliulo & Silverman.

Kate M. Devine has joined the Chicago firm of Davis Friedman Zavett Kane MacRae Marcus Rubens as an associate. The matrimonial law firm now has five associates and nine partners.

Sara C. Arroyo and Sarah A. Smith have joined the Chicago office of Dykema as associates in general litigation matters.

Mark Boozell, former chief of staff and legislative director to Gov. Jim Edgar and the Illinois Department of Insurance, has joined Dykema's Chicago office as a government relations professional.

Stephen J. Legatzke has joined Goldberg Kohn, Chicago, as a principal in the Corporate, Securities and Tax Group. A member of Phi Beta Kappa, he was a partner in the Tax Department of Winston & Strawn and administrator of its mentoring program at Dodge Renaissance Academy.

Charla A. Willian has joined Good-Smith, Gregg & Unruh, Chicago, as an associate. She was a corporate associate at Kirkland & Ellis.
