Artists may display work on CRO walls

Display space on conference room walls in the ISBA Chicago Regional Office is being made available to aspiring artists, who are ISBA members or spouses, for display of their works.

Submitted pieces of art will be selected by a reviewing committee and displayed in the CRO for six-month periods. Since wall space is limited, only a few pieces can be exhibited at any one time. More works will be solicited regularly so new art can be on display.

If the artist wishes to offer a piece for sale, a business card with the sale price may be displayed with the artwork. Members wishing to purchase artwork will contact the artists directly.

All artwork must be framed. The artist is responsible for all costs of shipping and insurance. The ISBA office on the ninth floor at 20 South Clark is the site of more than 100 meetings and seminars annually.

An ISBA member or spouse who has drawn or painted artwork is invited to submit a photograph of the piece, along with title, the size, the artist's name, mailing address, e-mail address and telephone number by Thursday, Aug. 10.

Send information to Janet M. Sosin, Director of Bar Services, Illinois State Bar Association, Suite 900, 20 S. Clark St., Chicago, Ill. 60603. For more information, contact Sosin at (312) 726-8775 or jsosin@isba.org.
