Gideon Grunfeld, an attorney and management consultant, will conduct an ISBA seminar on “Rainmaking: Becoming a Trusted Advisor to Your Clients” from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, in the Drake Hotel, Chicago.

Grunfeld, founder and president of Successful Career Strategies Inc., will offer the three best ways to build trust with existing clients, the two most avoidable reasons that good lawyers lose clients, and six rules for building a rewarding practice.

He will touch on alternatives to advertising, identifying the best potential clients, aspects of lawyering that become financial dead-ends, important steps to increasing fees, and complying with ethical and professional requirements.
