Dixon attorney Gary H. Gehlbach received the Austin Fleming Award during the 131st ISBA Annual Meeting for meritorious service as editor of the Real Estate Law Section newsletter for more than 20 years.

A partner in Ehrmann, Gehlbach, Badger & Lee, he also is in his second time around as an officer of the section council. He was its chair in 1994-95, and is its current vice chair.

Gehlbach also serves on the Illinois Bar Journal Editorial Board and has been a member of an ISBA Task Force on Public Protection from the Unauthorized Practice of Law.

He has taught advanced real estate courses at Sauk Valley Community College for several years and has lectured at countless professional seminars.
