CLE suits golfers to a tee

Arrive two hours early for the ISBA Young Lawyers Division benefit golf classic on Friday, July 14, at Indian Lakes Resort, Bloomingdale, and be treated to a one-hour continuing legal education seminar.

The complimentary program, “Building Your Client Base Without Landing in an Ethics Sand Trap,” will begin at 11 a.m. The speaker is Mary F. Andreoni, administrative counsel of the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission and member of the ISBA Committee on Professional Conduct.

Registration for the 18-hole scramble will begin at 12 noon, and the shotgun start is scheduled for 1 p.m. A reception and dinner will conclude the golf classic.

Entry fees of $150 per person or $600 per foursome include golf cart rental, dinner and prizes. There is no charge for golfers to attend the CLE program.

Proceeds from registrations and sponsorships will help the YLD Children's Assistance Fund support supervised children's courthouse waiting rooms. The fund is administered by the Illinois Bar Foundation.
