Cook County Judge Gloria G. Coco topped the list of 23 candidates for ISBA Assembly who were elected last month among 28 members who filed. She received 1,229 votes.
Two candidates who ran unsuccessfully for a seat on the ISBA Board of Governors were among the top vote-getters in the Assembly election. Patrice Ball-Reed came in second with 1,106 votes, and Letitia Spunar-Sheats received 1,019 votes to finish sixth.
Others elected to the Assembly, in order of vote totals, are:
Nicholas T. Motherway (1,101), Antonion M. Romanucci (1,031), Thomas M. Battista (1,021), Jeffrey G. Liss (982), Sam F. Cannizzaro (946), Regina A. Scannicchio (941), Anthony J. Monaco (938), Joe Cataldo and Alan Pearlman (936 each).
Also Sharon L. Eiseman (900), John L. Nisivaco (896), Mark W. Damisch (890), Richard S. Gutof (883), Jessica T. DePinto (864), John W. Damisch (852), Eugene F. Friedman (839), Beth D. Wade (833), David A. Skyrd (821), Michael G. Bergmann (818) and Michael J. Zink (768).
Unsuccessful candidates are Frank A. Summario (708), Carrie A. Williams (694), Robert D. Fink (687), Kari A. Legg (683) and Gawain Charlton-Perrin (545).
The election of three sitting members of the ISBA Assembly to the Board of Governors resulted in three vacancies that were filled by the board on May 19.
Newly elected to the Board of Governors, and simultaneously to duplicate seats on the Assembly, are Mauro Glorioso of Cook County, Carl L. Draper of Springfield (7th Circuit), and Elizabeth L. Jensen of Peoria (10th Circuit).
Replacing them on the Assembly are Frank A. Sommario of Chicago (for two years), Jennifer M. Ascher of Springfield (one year), and Phillip B. Lenzini of Peoria (one year), past chair of the Human Rights Section Council and member of the Local Government Law Section Councils.
