St. Louis game benefits IBF A National League baseball game in St. Louis between the Cardinals and Washington Nationals will be the location of an Illinois Bar Foundation benefit outing on Friday, April 28. Game time is 7:10 p.m. Attendance at the baseball benefit is $150 per person, which includes the game ticket and a ballpark buffet and refreshments in a Redbird Row party room. Call (312) 726-6072 for reservations. The Bar Foundation board will meet Saturday, April 29, at the Westin Hotel in St. Louis to act on applications for grants. The deadline for 2007 grant applications is Monday, Oct. 2, for review at the Oct. 14 board meeting. Other scheduled events include: Pillars of the Bar Foundation/Champaign County Bar Association golf outing on Monday, June 26, with board member John E. Thies as chair. Second annual Young Lawyers Division Golf Classic on Friday, July 14, at Indian Lakes Resort, Bloomingdale. Annual Illinois Bar Foundation Gala on Friday, Oct. 13, in the Four Seasons Hotel, Chicago. |
