View judicial ratings at isba.org

Do you have friends, family and colleagues asking how to become informed about judicial candidates? Do you wonder yourself? It's never been easier to cast an educated vote in judicial elections, thanks in part to the judicial ratings you'll find at www.isba.org. Visit the site and learn how judicial candidates in your county fared in ratings by lawyers who practice before them and/or ISBA-appointed evaluators.

We worked hard to make the format as voter-friendly as possible. The information for judges outside of Cook is organized so that voters can click on their county to find ratings for all judges on their ballot. The Cook County ratings are accessible via a subcircuit map – click on the subcircuit number listed on your voter registration card.

The ratings are accompanied by background information on the difference between polls and evaluations and between vacancy and retention elections. The site also includes links to ratings provides by voteforjudges.org and the Illinois Campaign for Political Reform.
