ARDC, LAP add to Florida panel James J. Grogan, chief counsel of the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission, and Janet Piper Voss, executive director of the Lawyers' Assistance Program, are panelists for a Florida Bar program in Chicago this month. “Florida Law in the Windy City,” a presentation of the bar's Out-of-State Division, will take place from 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, March 30, at the Chicago Bar Association. John C. Voorn of Hiskes, Dillner, O'Donnell, Marovich & Lapp, Orland Park, serves on the faculty and steering committee. Division President Scott Patterson of Baltimore will conduct the program. Grogan will speak at 9 a.m. on “Trends and Developments in Legal Ethics.” Other topics include e-discovery, effective negotiation, legal malpractice trends, and blogging.
