Women's service projects planned

Volunteers are needed for Women Everywhere: Partners in Service projects that are scheduled on Fridays, May 11 and June 8, in the Chicago area.

Now in its eighth year of providing direct services and educational presentations for agencies that assist women and children in need, the program is open to both female and male members and friends of the legal community.

On May 11, volunteers will help lead groups of young women on tours of the Cook County court system.

On June 8, activities include conducting seminars and workshops, gardening, painting and cleaning at selected agency facilities.

Kimberly J. Anderson, secretary of the ISBA Committee on Bar Services and Activities and member of both the Family Law Section Council and Committee on Law Related Education for the Public, is co-chair of Women Everywhere.

To obtain more information or volunteer for a project, call Anderson at (312) 920-0870 or co-chair Neera Walsh at (312) 325-9229. Assignments will be made in April.
