YLD golf outing includes CLE
A one-hour continuing legal education seminar will precede the second annual ISBA Young Lawyers Division benefit golf classic on Friday, July 14, at Indian Lakes Resort, Bloomingdale.
Titled “Building Your Client Base Without Landing in an Ethics Sand Trap,” the 11 a.m. seminar will feature advice from Mary F. Andreoni, administrative counsel of the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission and member of the ISBA Committee on Professional Conduct.
At 12 noon, registration for the golf classic will begin. The shotgun start for the 18-hole scramble is scheduled at 1 p.m., and a reception and dinner will follow.
Proceeds will help the YLD Children's Assistance Fund support supervised children's courthouse waiting rooms. The fund is administered by the Illinois Bar Foundation.
Entry fees of $150 per person or $600 per foursome include golf cart rental, dinner and prizes. There is no charge for golfers to attend the CLE program.
Donations from non-golfers are appreciated, and various sponsorship opportunities are available.
