Plans in works for Solo, Small Firm event

Watch for the June issue of the ISBA Bar News for more complete details about the program and speakers for the second annual ISBA Solo and Small Firm Conference.

The 2006 conference will be conducted from Thursday through Saturday, Sept. 14 to 16, at Pheasant Run Resort, St. Charles, in larger facilities that at the inaugural conference last October.

Several tracks of educational programming will be offered, along with an expo of products and services, providing a membership benefit to lawyers who will be able to meet MCLE requirements while networking with colleagues.

Plenary sessions will feature provocative guest speakers on law office management, marketing and technology issues. Breakout sessions will be conducted by experienced practitioners in a variety of substantive areas of the law and essentials of operating a profitable practice.

The nearby historic Fox Valley cities of St. Charles and Geneva offer ample attractions, entertainment venues and dining establishments for the enjoyment of ISBA families.
