DVDs and textual materials from the three-day seminar, “Basic Skills: The New Attorney's Introduction to the Effective Practice of Law,” are now available for purchase.

Program topics include establishing a practice, communication skills, time management, effective negotiation, trial practice tips, ethics and professionalism.

Jointly sponsored by the ISBA and IICLE, the program has been accredited for the required 15 hours of MCLE credit, including four hours of Professionalism MCLE credit.

The price for new lawyers, up to one year after date of admission, is $124 plus tax and shipping, for a total of $138.61.

The DVD and materials also provide a useful refresher course for lawyers who are not recently admitted. For such purchasers, the price is $319 plus tax and shipping, total $348.73.
