Friday, June 1, is the deadline for ISBA section councils and committees to submit proposals for October and November programs to the Committee on Continuing Legal Education.

Future deadlines are:

Friday, July 13, for December and January programs, including the Midyear Meeting.

Friday, Sept. 14, for February and March 2008 programs.

Thursday, Nov. 15, for April and May 2008 programs

The Committee on Continuing Legal Education has drafted a master planning calendar for ongoing presentation of Law Ed seminars into the future.

The proposed schedule being circulated for review by ISBA section councils and committees is based on histories of CLE programs that have been conducted since the Supreme Court adopted minimum standards for registered attorneys.

Setting a balanced, month-by-month schedule of coming seminars is expected to help the CLE committee present better programs, increase attendance, recruit speakers, select preferred venues, provide quality course materials, and improve MCLE credit certainty.
