Quigley bar holds inaugural event Dec. 2

The inaugural luncheon banquet of the newly formed Quigley Law Association will take place Friday, Dec. 2, at the Union League Club Chicago. Cardinal Francis George will be an honored guest.

The association was created by and for lawyers, judges and ordained canon lawyers who are alumni of Quigley, Quigley North, Quigley South and Archbishop Quigley Preparatory Seminary High School, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary.

Its purposes are to provide personal camaraderie and professional development among alumni, faculty, students and parents; to enhance alumni support of Quigley, and to contribute to the mission of educating young men to respond to the call.

Among the charter members are the Most Rev. Thomas J. Paprocki, Francis D. Morrissey, Thomas C. Hynes, Brian L. Crowe, Larry Suffredin and 18th Circuit Judge Joseph S. Bongiorno.

The 10th annual Zoo Ball benefit for the Child Friendly Courts Foundation of the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers will take place Friday, Nov. 18, at the Brookfield Zoo, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
