A ceremony commemorating the establishment of the 22nd Judicial Circuit will take place at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4, in courtroom A320 of the McHenry County Government Center in Woodstock.

The program and luncheon that follows will be conducted by the McHenry County Bar Association and the following McHenry County jurists, formerly with the 19th Circuit: John D. Bolger, Michael T. Caldwell, Michael J. Chmiel, Joseph P. Condon, Michael W. Feeterer, Gordon E. Graham, Suzanne C. Mangiamele, Maureen P. McIntyre, Sharon L. Prather, Michael J. Sullivan, Charles P. Weech, Robert A. Wilbrandt and Gerald M. Zopp.

Sullivan will serve as the new circuit's first chief judge until Nov. 30, 2009.
