Two justices to address Midyear programs ISBA, IJA plan special events from Dec. 7 to 9 Both women justices of the Illinois Supreme Court will be keynote speakers for special events during the ISBA Midyear Meeting at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel next month. Justice Anne M. Burke of Chicago, who was appointed this year to the vacancy of Mary Ann G. McMorrow, will speak at the joint luncheon of the ISBA and Illinois Judges Association on Friday, Dec. 8. Justice Rita B. Garman of Danville will speak on behalf of her colleagues at the annual Supreme Court dinner Friday, Dec. 8, following a reception with co-sponsorship by the Chicago Bar Association. Business meetings of most ISBA committees and section councils will take place during the three-day convention.
