Two ISBA committees and the Women's Bar Association of Illinois will begin a Leadership Training Series at 12 noon Wednesday, Dec. 12, in the ISBA Chicago Regional Office.

Co-sponsored by the Committees on Women and the Law and on Minority and Women Participation, the monthly programs will take place either during the lunch hour or after work. They are free to ISBA and WBAI members.

Speaker for the Dec. 12 program is Vicki Kunkel, a nationally known expert on persuasive courtroom tactics and author of the upcoming book, “The Velcro Effect: How to Master Mass Appeal.”

Kunkel received a WBAI Women with Vision Award in 2005 for her breakthrough research on the 12 primal factors of mass appeal that can help lawyers win high-stakes cases.
