Nov. 10 is date lawyers admitted in five districts The Illinois Supreme Court has scheduled admission ceremonies on Thursday, Nov. 10, in the five judicial districts. The times and locations follow, with available information about ISBA speakers and receptions. 1st District: 10 a.m. in the Arie Crowne Theatre at McCormick Place, Chicago; ISBA President Bob Downs will speak. 2nd District: 10 a.m. in the Hemmens Memorial Building, Elgin; an ISBA reception will follow in the north foyer. 3rd District: 11:15 a.m. in the Four Points Sheraton Hotel, Rock Island. 4th District: 10 a.m. in the Michael J. Howlett Building, Springfield; an ISBA reception will follow in the Hall of Flags. 5th District: 2 p.m. at the Southern Illinois University School of Law; Third Vice President Jack Carey will speak, and an ISBA reception will follow in the student lounge area of the lobby.
