YLD benefit scheduled Dec. 2 During the past seven years, the ISBA Young Lawyers Division has raised more than $100,000 in cooperation with the Illinois Bar Foundation to support and furnish children's courthouse waiting rooms around the state. The eighth annual YLD holiday party for that purpose is scheduled from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, at Joe's of Chicago, 940 W. Weed St. In addition to finger food and liquid refreshments, live 1980s retro music will be provided by Underwater People. The admission donation is $35 per person, but additional tax-deductible donations are welcome. Checks should be payable to IBF/Children's Assistance Fund. For more information, contact Gregg A.
