Honoraria DePaul law alum honor for Bahr The DePaul University College of Law Alumni Board will present its Distinguished Alumna Award to ISBA President Irene F. Bahr on Thursday, Sept. 21, during its 13th annual awards luncheon in the Palmer House Hilton, Chicago. Also being honored are the following DePaul alumni: Chester A. Lizak of DiMonte & Lizak, Park Ridge, the Outstanding Service to the Profession Award; Dawn Gonzalez of Litchfield Cavo, Chicago, the Outstanding Young Alumna Award, and Steve Rudolph, editor of CCH Aviation Law Reporter, the Outstanding Service to DePaul University Award. A Faculty Service Award will be given to Prof. John Decker, director of the field placement and criminal law programs. McMorrow will receive a Distinguished Public Service Award from the Union League Club of Chicago during a luncheon on Wednesday, Oct. 4. The rare honor will recognize her 53-year career of achievements in the legal community. • • • Carla Michelotti, executive vice president and general counsel of Leo Burnett Worldwide, received the Justinian Society's Award of Excellence during its annual installation dinner Sept. 13, at the Palmer House Hilton, Chicago. Michelotti is a past chair of the Fellows of the Illinois Bar Foundation and a Charter Fellow. Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan received the Helen M. Kocoras, former chief judge of U.S. District Court for the Northern District; Justice Anne M. Burke of the Illinois Supreme Court, and attorneys Donald Hubert and Thomas H. Morsch have received Justice John Paul Stevens Awards from the Chicago Bar Association. They were honored Sept. 14 during the seventh annual Stevens Award luncheon at which the U.S. Supreme Court justice was keynote speaker. • • • The Chicago Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law has presented its Corporate Leadership Award to the Exelon Corp. on Aug. 28 for its extensive pro bono and diversity programs. Senior vice president and general counsel William A. Von Hoene Jr. accepted the award. Exelon also received an Outstanding Corporate Partnership Award recently from the Pro Bono Center for Disability and Elder Law.
