Observances of National Latino/Hispanic Heritage Month in Chicago include a pair of courthouse tours in the Richard J. Daley Center, beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday and Friday, Sept. 27-28.

Sponsors are the Cook County Circuit Court, the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois and the Puerto Rican Bar Association.

Participants will gather in the west lobby for observations of a trial in progress, informative presentations by judges, and meetings with representatives of the two bar associations.

The free tours are limited to groups consisting of no more than 35 individuals of ages 10 and over. Reservations are recommended. Call Milissa Pacelli in the public affairs office at (312) 603-1927 by Monday, Sept. 24.
