Web-cast planned by Lincoln Land

A live web-cast of a seminar for estate planning professionals may be viewed at no charge from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, in the Trutter Center at Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield.

The presentation features Roy M. Adams, a professor emeritus of estate planning and taxation at the Northwestern University School of Law, and Connecticut attorney Conrad Teitel.

Titled “Estate Planning Hallmarks: Compliance and Complexity,” the seminar covers new laws from the 2006 Pension Act and increased ethical obligations of estate planning professionals. Luncheon is included.

Sponsors are the Springfield Salvation Army and Lincoln Land, where Springfield attorney Roger L. Rutherford, a member of the ISBA Committee on Law Office Management and Economics, is president of the board of trustees.
