Women law scholars get grants The Women's Bar Foundation has selected 10 Illinois law students who will receive scholarships during a benefit reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, at the Mid-Day Club on Chase Plaza, Chicago. Margaret Wakelin of Northwestern University will receive the WBF Public Interest Scholarship. Recipients of WBF Academic Scholarships are the following: Katarzyna Homenda of DePaul University, Tope Odoffin and Lauren Tobiason of The John Marshall Law School, Megan Sulok and Leslee Nelson of Loyola University, Tracy Shessler of Northern Illinois University, Elizabeth Gastelum of Southern Illinois University, Cathy Yu of the University of Chicago, and Gray Mateo of the University of Illinois.
