Reasonable Doubt
Record contained sufficient evidence to support jury’s guilty verdict on unlawful possession of firearm charges where defendant admitted to possessing firearms found by police in girlfriend’s apartment pursuant to recent report of gunfire. Fact that defendant was drunk at time of admission did not require different result. Dist. Ct. erred, though, in entering judgment on both counts of unlawful possession of firearm charges alleging violations based on defendant’s status as felon and his prior conviction on misdemeanor charge of domestic-violence, where record established only single incident of possession.
