Dist. Ct. did not err in granting defendants-foreign manufacturers’ motion for partial summary judgment in Sherman Act action by plaintiff-American corporation alleging that defendants improperly agreed among themselves to set price of liquid-crystal display (LCD) panels that were incorporated into cellphones manufactured by plaintiff and its foreign subsidiaries. Plaintiff could not sue for anti-trust remedies under Sherman Act, where instant LCD panels, which were purchased by plaintiff’s foreign subsidiaries and incorporated into cellphones outside of U.S., never became part of U.S. commerce, as required under Sherman Act.
