Bank teller filed personal injury suit against her employer for injuries sustained during armed bank robbery, alleging willful and wanton conduct in bank's failure to adopt security precautions to prevent bank robberies. As Workers' Compensation Act provides exclusive remedy, once Plaintiff applied for and accepted workers’ compensation benefits, she was barred from pursuing an intentional-tort action against her employer. Although Plaintiff alleged that she had requested that bank increase security measures, given two prior robberies, Plaintiff failed to allege bank specifically intended her harm, or that bank commanded or expressly authorized her injuries.(McLAREN and BURKE, concurring.)
