Illinois Appellate Court
Civil Court
Dissolution of Marriage
Court's entry of a bifucated judgment of dissolution is a final and appealable order under Rule 301, and thus whether court had made Rule 304(a) finding is irrelevant to appellate court's jurisdiction. Appropriate circumstances existed to bifurcate judgment, given protracted and contentious litigation and allegations of physical abuse by husband against wife and son.
