Parent sought administrative review of adverse decision of Illinois State Board of Education as to accommodations for her daughter's learning disability. Hearing officer's decisions as to student's placement, and to parent's participation in process of determining placement were not clearly erroneous.Officer cited to testimony of parent's witness as to student's ability to complete specialized program within one year to bring her up to grade level in language skills, and School District offered to place student in school able to provide that instruction.
